I started in 2012 in the Beginner Band and moved through the Junior Band into the Intermediate Band.

Instruments played: Flute and French Horn in the band.

Instruments played: I play bari sax. I have also dabbled in tenor and alto but bari is my first love. I play in the Intermediate Band as well as the Jazz Band and the Sax Ensemble.

 Music history: I played piano as a child but had never played a band instrument before I joined NHB in 2009. I was in my 50s when I started playing saxophone so it's never too late to start. I now play in a number of community bands in the city and am so glad to have those opportunities.
