Claire Powell - Conductor Beginner Band

Claire Powell was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario. Music Education brought her to Manitoba, and she graduated from Brandon University in 2013 with her concurrent B.Mus/B.Ed.

 

Claire taught in Minnedosa for 9 years before moving to Winnipeg in 2022 with her husband John Hodge and their dog Sheena. 

 

Claire currently teaches the Beginners of New Horizons Band in Winnipeg. She is also currently teaching Low Brass for Sistema Winnipeg and Band, Music, and Social Studies at Gordon Bell High School.
